چکیده
In this study, we aimed to determine the effects of tillage systems (TS) on wheat grain yield, yield components, and physicochemical properties under rain-fed conditions over 2 years (2018–2019) in Kuhdasht region southwestern Iran. The treatments were a combination conventional (CT), reduced (RT), no (NT) based randomized complete blocks with three replications. Wheat yields physical (geometrical dimensions, sphericity, thousand-grain mass (TGM), water absorption (WA), volume (V), density), chemical composition (protein content (PC), (WC), fiber (FC), ash (AC)), surface color parameters (L*, a*, b*), correlations among measured assessed. results showed that components significantly affected by TS (p < 0.01). was higher CT (2.72 t ha?1), significant difference between RT (1.76 ha?1) NT (1.20 ha?1). highest TGM (49.19 g) achieved CT, followed (43.41 g), lowest (39.17 system. had certain grains grain, size, shape, values than all experimental years. resulted WA, while from NT. influence density grains. PC, AC, WC at 1% probability level FC 5% level. Higher PC obtained system (13.07%, against 11.90% 10.67% for NT, respectively) growing seasons. Additionally, AC lower sample (2.38%) (2.43%) those (2.56). (15.73%) (13.73) (13.71%). (7.57%) (6.79%) (7.0%). grains, L* (lightness) b* (yellowness)

Soil Physical Characteristics and Crop Productivity as Affected by Tillage in Rice-Wheat System
Tillage practices significantly influences soil physical characteristics and crop productivity. The infiltration characteristics, bulk density, porosity, penetration resistance, grain yield of rice and wheat were measured under no-till without residue (NT), roto-tillage (RT), and no-till with residue i.e. happy seeder (HS) in rice-wheat cropping system in sandy loam (SL) and loamy sand (LS) soi...
متن کاملDryland Wheat Grain Yield and Yield Components as Affected by Slope Direction and Residue Rates
Limited information is available on the effect of residues rates and slope direction on dryland wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) yield. This study was carried out to determine the effects of residues rates and tillage direction on grain yield and yield components of the Sardary wheat in a dryland region in Zanjan. Five wheat residues rates (0, 25, 50, 75 and 100% surface cover) were applied and i...
متن کاملCrop Yield and Plant Density under Diff erent Tillage Systems
To determine the optimal ploughing depth and to make tillage simpler and less costly, but also taking account of edaphic and climatic conditions as well as biological and agrotechnical requirements of crops grown, long-term investigations (1994-2009) have been carried out on Stagnic Luvisol of sloping terrains in central Croatia near Daruvar. Th e paper presents the results relating to plant de...
متن کاملPhysicochemical and Rheological Properties and Microstructure of Canola oil as Affected by Monoacylglycerols
Background and Objectives: Canola oil is very low in saturated fatty acid (~8 %), which makes it suitable for application as dressing for salad. Canola oil is liquid, thus its application in the production of margarine and shortening is limited. The present study provides information about the effects of monoacylglycerols (MAG) as the structuring agent on physical, microstructure and rheologica...
متن کاملEffect of Different Tillage Systems on Soil Properties and Production on Wheat, Maize and Soybean Crop
Soil tillage systems can be able to influence soil compaction, water dynamics, soil temperature and crop yield. These processes can be expressed as changes of soil microbiological activity, soil respiration and sustainability of agriculture. Objectives of this study were: 1 to assess the effects of tillage systems (Conventional System (CS), Minimum Tillage (MT), No-Tillage (NT)) on soil compact...
